Our Vision
The primary vision of the Indiana Federation of Democratic Women (IFDW) is to unify and represent the diverse Democratic women's organizations across the state, giving them a stronger, collective voice within the Indiana Democratic Party (IDP). The organization serves as a structure for collaboration, allowing individual and autonomous gr
The primary vision of the Indiana Federation of Democratic Women (IFDW) is to unify and represent the diverse Democratic women's organizations across the state, giving them a stronger, collective voice within the Indiana Democratic Party (IDP). The organization serves as a structure for collaboration, allowing individual and autonomous groups to share ideas and resources to best represent women's interests and lend strength to their presence in Indiana politics. We are an official constituency caucus of the Indiana Democratic Party.
The overarching goal is to ensure that women, who are underrepresented in political leadership roles despite making up over 50% of the population, have a prominent seat at every table where decisions are made.
